Bernardo Nadal-Ginard - Cardiovascular Researcher and Professor

Since 2010, Bernardo Nadal-Ginard, MD, PhD, has been the CEO and principal investigator for StemCell Operating Co. Over the years, Dr. Bernardo Nadal-Ginard has performed extensive research related to biology and cardiology over the course of his five-decade career.

Dr. Nadal-Ginard has taught and conducted research at some of the world’s most esteemed academic institutions, including Yale University, the University of Barcelona, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and King’s College. He has also been invited to speak at numerous lectures, keynote addresses, and meetings.

In addition, Dr. Nadal-Ginard has a body of research that includes therapies for ischemic myocardial disease, growth/differentiation of stem cells, impact of exercise on cardiovascular system, and regenerative medicine. His research has been published in Cell, Nature, Science, Circulation, Journal of Embryology, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Genetics, Biochemistry, the Journal of Molecular Biology, and other peer-reviewed publications. It has been cited over 30,000 times by other researchers.

Today, Dr. Nadal-Ginard’s role as principal investigator involves preparing research protocols for clinical trials. He is involved with every research project from beginning to end, including reporting results and ensuring the studies are compliant with laws, regulations, and institutional guidelines.

Dr. Nadal-Ginard’s education and training include a doctorate from Yale University and a medical degree from University of Barcelona. He presently lives in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
